Meet Muriel, a Deva Diva
Muriel Christonai is a musician, essence maker, and a bridge-builder between the human heart and the living resonance of Nature.
Her work is guided by a simple truth: we are already woven into the fabric of Life. The journey isn’t about finding a connection, but about tuning the dial. When our internal frequency shifts, we begin to hear the subtle intelligences of the Earth, the quiet guidance of the body, and the steady current of Love that moves through all things.
Muriel has devoted her life to making the "Devic Kingdom" - the consciousness within plants, elements, and the land - accessible and felt. She supports others in finding their own resonance through sound, vibrational plant essences, and immersive experiences that restore a natural sense of harmony between our human lives and the wilder world.
For Muriel, this relationship with the Devas is grounded in daily conversation - a spiritual practice woven into the fabric of family life, land stewardship, song, and creative enterprise. Her offerings arise from this lived, embodied place.
Born in Europe, Muriel’s inquiry began as a teenager, following a thread of Spirit across continents. She spent over a decade in Glastonbury, UK, immersed in its sacred landscapes, where she co-founded the Chalice Well Essences. During those years, she released her debut album Angelica and toured alongside author Neale Donald Walsch, headlining spiritual gatherings throughout Europe and singing for Hay House, Amma, and more in London.
Behind the public moments, a quieter integration was calling her home. Blessed with motherhood, she returned to Aotearoa, New Zealand, in 2014. She earned a Healthcare Musician qualification and a Master’s Degree in Healing Music, grounding her intuitive practice in the science of sound. The albums Alcyone and A Soft Place to Fall were born from this era of refinement and rest.
Today, Muriel lives in rural Bay of Plenty with her husband children, and floof-dragon dogs. From her home studio, she creates meditative music, crafts the Deva Diva Master Plant Essences, and hosts attunement experiences. These gatherings are designed to gently clear the "noise" of modern life, helping participants sense and work consciously with the subtle currents of plant intelligence and Earth wisdom.
Muriel carries a steady, quiet optimism for the path humanity is walking. She believes that when we learn to truly listen again, we find our way back to the Love that has been waiting for us all along.
Her work is both permission and invitation to slow down, soften, and enter the flow of the heart - a gentle return to the sacred realm of the Soul.
