Working with Essences
~ A Guide to Your Vibrational Journey ~
This article offers those new to vibrational healing a clear, simple overview of how to work with Essences and integrate them into daily life.
What Are Essences?
At their core, Essences are vibrational tools for transformation. Unlike herbal medicine, which uses the physical properties of a plant, essences capture the energetic signature or life force of a flower, mineral, or environment. They work within your subtle energy system - the layers of your being that influence your emotions, thoughts, and spiritual alignment - to help bring you back into a state of harmony, coherence and wholeness.
Attuning to Your Essence
Working with an Essence is more than just taking a drop of liquid; it is a collaborative relationship between you and the consciousness of nature. To attune is to align your energy with the frequency of the Essence you have chosen. (Read more in depth on how you can do that here)
Here is how to get the most out of your Essences:
1. Set Your Intention
Before you begin, take a moment of stillness. Hold the bottle in your hands and connect with your breath. State clearly, either silently or aloud, what you wish to shift or invite into your life. Whether it’s clarity, grounding, or emotional release, your intention acts as the bridge between your energy and the Essence.
2. The Ritual of Dosage
While regularity is often more important than quantity, a standard practice is taking 3 to 9 drops, 1 to 3 times a day. You can take them directly under the tongue or add them to a glass of water to sip throughout the day.
3. Beyond the Tongue
You aren't limited to oral doses! Because essences are vibrational, they can be used in several creative ways:
-
In your environment: Add a few drops to a spray bottle with water to mist your aura or your room.
-
In your bath: Add 7-10 drops to your bathwater for a full-body energetic soak.
-
Topically: Rub a drop onto your pulse points or heart center during meditation.
4. Observe the Subtle Shifts
Essences work gently. You might notice an immediate shift in mood, or the changes may be more subtle - a dream, a new perspective on an old problem, or a sudden sense of peace.
Trust the process and honour the timing of your own unfolding.
Blessings on your journey! ✨
